Your Contract for Transport contains important details about your reservation and the terms governing your shipment. We strongly recommend reading both sides of the contract before signing.
Please verify that your pickup and delivery dates, vehicle information, and contact details are accurate. If you have any questions or notice anything that needs to be corrected, contact our office before signing. Any necessary changes will be made promptly, and an updated contract will be issued.
The Uniform Straight Bill of Lading is the official document that authorizes us to transport your vehicle from state to state. It serves as the governing document for your shipment and is used at both pickup and delivery.
At pickup, the driver will conduct a thorough exterior inspection of your vehicle and document any visible markings or existing damage on the Bill of Lading. Please review these notes carefully before releasing your vehicle to the driver, and ask questions if anything is unclear.
At delivery, the Bill of Lading must be reviewed again. Any claim for transport-related damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery in order to be considered.
As a licensed ICC carrier, we carry all insurance coverage required by law. A copy of our Certificate of Insurance is available upon request.
Our cargo insurance covers physical damage that may occur during transit only. It does not cover mechanical issues or malfunctions.
Per the Uniform Straight Bill of Lading, each vehicle is insured up to $35,000.00. In the event of a total loss, coverage is limited to this amount. If your vehicle’s value exceeds $35,000.00, we recommend arranging additional coverage through your personal auto insurance provider.
All claims are subject to a $250.00 deductible.
Our seasonal routes book quickly, often several months in advance. We only accept reservations we can safely and reliably accommodate on our carriers.
For this reason, we recommend contacting us before booking airline travel to confirm date availability. Planning ahead and reserving early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred pickup and delivery dates.
Yes. Once your reservation is made, you will receive a Contract for Transport by mail or email. To confirm your reservation, the signed contract must be returned along with a $250.00 deposit.
Any changes or cancellations must be made at least 20 days prior to your scheduled transport date in order for your deposit to be refunded or transferred.
Changes made after this time may result in forfeiture of the deposit, and the deposit may not be transferable to another date.
